Roses For Health




Roses are most females favorite flower as it symbolized love from people they care. Girls always dream of getting roses from their partner/lover especially during important memorable dates. This is a phenomenon with no boundaries of age and countries.

Besides symbolized for love and care, little of us knows that roses pose beneficial effects to human as well. It has been traditionally used to ease anxiety, sooth sore throat and reduces fever. In modern days, processed rose petals are used for cosmetic purposed such as perfume, toner and etc.

Rose leaves and petals has cooling effect. These parts are later processed into tea; generally known as rose tea or rose petal tea. For people who have rashes or inflammations, taking rose tea helps to bring down fever/heat and clean toxins from the body. Rose tea/ direct application of rose water (a by-product from distillation) helps soothing the enlarge capillary beneath the skin, which help reduces redness when inflammation occurs.

Rose teas are believed to soothe mild sore throat by enhancing human immune system. It contains natural anti-inflammatory properties. It is helpful to relief sore throat, running nose, cough and cold. Take a cup of rose petal tea when you are having these conditions help relief from the symptoms.

Interesting and surprisingly there are people who used this as a laxative agent to enhance bile flow. This helps to stimulate and cleanse liver to soothe constipation.

For those who want to get away from their routine green tea for health reason, rose petal tea provides a good alternative. This is a caffeine-free anti-oxidant drink even suitable for people who is allergic/ resistant to caffeine.

Roses can be developed into aromatherapy oil or perfume due to its relieving scent. Perform aromatherapy with rose oil have uplifting effect on our nervous system and hence helps one to feel more relax. This also helps to improve insomnia.
